ATRI launches separate driver and carrier surveys on truck-driver health

ATRI launched two surveys to study the operational impacts of driver health. Drivers can anonymously describe health and wellness on the road, while carriers are asked about medical-card durations, insurance costs and operating indicators.

Participation gathers evidence; results are not yet available

ATRI invites industry participation through November 13, 2026. The project examines possible relationships among health, risk and operating cost; launching a survey does not establish those relationships or change medical-certification requirements.

Understanding the update

This is a research invitation, not medical guidance, a completed study or a regulatory action.

What it means for drivers and carriers

Interested drivers and fleets should use ATRI's official survey links and review the stated privacy terms before submitting information.

Questions to consider

  • Which survey fits the participant's driver or carrier role?
